Inspecta-Vu Xenon Lamp Module
All AngioLaz compact arc xenon systems feature the quick change lamp module. This module is removed from the side of the system with a simple lever pull, and replaced by sliding a new module back in the slot.
The module features an LCD hour meter which measures the time the lamp has been used and is visible from the side of the unit without removing the module. It is fast, easy, and requires a minimum of skill.
Because other than the lamp itself, the module components are reusable, Angiolaz offers a $50 rebate for the spent module when it is returned. The modules themselves can be purchased without sending one back so that several can be in stock.
The lamp and its module is warranted to operate 500 hours with a 100% rebate if it fails before that period in normal use. Under normal conditions the lamp will last over 1000 hours.
Most dealers stock an extra module, and Angiolaz will Fedex a new module to registered customers for next day delivery as a service.
For institutions with biomedical engineering staffs, the lamp can be changed within the module by qualified technicians. The lamp when not exchanged by AngioLaz, however, is not warranted.
